I had asked my friend if that was her and she said yes, I had showed her some of the comments people have wrote that asked questions and jokes about them. If I had not known, I would not have commented and I would have just went on with my day. Yes some churches inv people of all ages, however that's not the case for Pentecostal. They also often seperate the girls from the boys. I took a long time responding to this comment because I have been waiting for a response from her and she had told me this was a family reunion.

Pentecostals believe in dressing modestly in the eyes of god, to avoid lust and sin as that is their reading of the Bible (e.g. see Timothy 2:9). Their standard of modesty is that which you see in the video. To them, bathing suits are immodest. Just like not wearing a hijab might be immodest to muslims. I'm going to assume you just missed the reply I responded to as it was deleted and so thought I typed what I did without context. Your view of modesty is up to you, just as the family in the video and op is entitled to theirs. However, saying they are wearing incorrect swimwear is insulting to their faith, as this is what they would consider the only appropriately modest swimwear. By the same token, I never disparaged anyone for wearing a bathing suit or indeed trunks.
